Perfect Push Up | Waste of Money

Perfect Push UpThe Perfect Push Up was created by an ex navy seal. It’s a product that’s been knocked off by the Push Up Pro. Don’t get me started on that one. It’s even worse than the Perfect Push Up.

I will give the Perfect Push Up credit for one thing. It’s surprisingly sturdy.

Here’s why I don’t like the Perfect Push Up:

1. Wrists hurt after each rotation

2. I simply get better results doing regular push ups

3. Requires you to already be in-shape. I noticed that after doing the Perfect Push Up for a couple weeks that one side of my chest was more toned than the other. Later I realized after using the Perfect Push Up, that I wasn’t rotating both handles at the same exact degree. If you ask me, I think this is no-good. You have to have laser-like precision to avoid growing more or less on each side of your upper body.

A customer from Walmart.com was also unsatisfied and had this to say:

Don’t Buy, 12/23/2008
Currently serving our country in the US Army and i bought this product to see if the challenge is anything like the US Military. This product is terrible i can do hundreds of push ups all day long and i use the product once and my shoulders hurt, wrists hurt and its the most uncomfortable feeling ever. I wouldn’t recommend this product to anyone. if your looking to do push ups there is programs out there to help you build up to where you want to be.

Here’s another MAJOR reason why I don’t like the Push Up Pro:

Rather you’re doing regular push-ups or push-up pro push ups, you will never have the body of the guy and girl they have in their ads. Even if that is not your goal, one thing you need to realize is that in order to gain lean muscle and definition, you have to “cut the fat.” The problem with that is that you have to know exactly what to do and what body type you are trying to achieve and what cooresponding exercises and diet is necessary.

I recently came across a book online that’s focused on fat loss and muscle gains. What I like best, is that the book gives you several different options to choose what kind of body type you want to achieve, and then you’re given the necessary steps to achieve them from diet to workout routine. It’s pretty incredible. The book is titled: Burn The Fat Feed The Muscle and it’s written by fitness expert Tony Venuto.
